The match was relocated to the 16,556-capacity ground on Valle Hovin after originally being assigned elsewhere, handing Vålerenga's supporters another opportunity to pack out their home stadium within the same week as the Bodø/Glimt league clash.
For Christiania BK, a lower-division Oslo club, the tie represents a remarkable occasion — a chance to test themselves against top-flight opposition on one of Norway's finest club football stages.
A Busy House
The cup fixture is the latest addition to an already demanding schedule at Intility Arena this autumn. With Molde arriving in the league on 29 August, and Brann, Fredrikstad and Rosenborg all still pencilled in before the December finale, the stadium is set to see near-continuous action throughout the second half of the 2026 campaign.
Vålerenga Women are also part of the picture. A Toppserien fixture against Hønefoss W was played at Intility Arena on 19 August, underlining the arena's role as a shared home for both the men's and women's programmes.

The stadium operates a strict no-smoking and no-re-entry policy. Supporters who have passed through the turnstiles may not leave and re-enter. Intoxicated persons will be refused admission at the gate.
Away supporters are allocated the designated sections in blocks 201 and 202; away colours and merchandise are not permitted in any other part of the stadium. The Østblokka and Oslo Taxi Tribune remain strictly reserved for Vålerenga fans. Ticket concessions are available for students, seniors, military personnel and children up to 12, with under-fours admitted free on a parent's lap.
