Cup Tie Confirmed at Intility Arena as Molde Visit Looms
Vålerenga's cup fixture against Christiania BK has been moved to Intility Arena, adding another home date to an already packed autumn schedule. The tie follows hot on the heels of the Bodø/Glimt Eliteserien clash, with Molde the next top-flight visitors on 29 August. Tickets for the Molde match are on sale now.
Oslo Braces for a Midweek Cup Date
Intility Arena's fixture list just got a little longer. It was confirmed on 14 August that Vålerenga's cup tie against Christiania BK will be played at the Valle Hovin ground, bringing an extra dose of knockout football to a stadium already buzzing with Eliteserien activity.
The decision to move the tie to Intility Arena means supporters will have another early opportunity to see the stadium's newly installed artificial surface in action, with the cup match arriving in the calendar not long after the high-profile league visit of Bodø/Glimt on 8 August.
Molde the Next Big Test
Before thoughts turn too far ahead, the next major date on the home schedule is the Eliteserien Round 19 clash with Molde on 29 August, kick-off at 16:00. Tickets for that fixture are already on sale through the club's official ticketing platform.
Molde represent another stern examination of Vålerenga's credentials on home soil, and with the new pitch now bedded in after several competitive matches, the stage is set for what could be a pivotal evening at the 16,556-capacity arena.
How to Get There and What to Expect
Intility Arena operates its standard matchday rules: no smoking, no re-entry and no admission for intoxicated persons. Away supporters are directed to the designated sections in fields 201 and 202, while the Østblokka and Oslotaxi Tribune remain exclusively for home fans.
Tickets are available across adult, student, senior, military and child categories. Children aged four and under are admitted free when seated on a parent's lap, making the upcoming home run an accessible occasion for supporters of all ages.
