Intility Arena Goes Green with Stadium-Wide Reusable Cup Scheme
Intility Arena has rolled out reusable cups across every part of the stadium, replacing single-use plastics as part of a new sustainability drive. The initiative launched during one of the ground's busiest autumn periods, with multiple home fixtures still to come before the year is out.
A Greener Matchday Experience
Intility Arena has announced the introduction of reusable cups across the entire stadium, marking a significant step in the venue's sustainability efforts. The initiative, reported on September 29-30, means that every drink served inside the ground will now be dispensed in a reusable cup, replacing single-use plastic across all concourse kiosks and hospitality areas.
The move positions Intility Arena among the most environmentally forward-thinking football venues in Norway, and reflects a growing commitment across the club and stadium to reduce waste on matchdays.
How It Works for Fans
Fans attending matches at Intility Arena will receive their drinks in the new reusable cups and are expected to return them after use. The scheme applies to all areas of the 16,555-capacity stadium, from the main concourses to hospitality lounges, ensuring a consistent experience for every supporter regardless of where they are seated.
The timing of the launch — during one of the busiest periods on the stadium calendar — underlines the club's confidence in the system. With several high-profile home matches still to come in 2026, including Eliteserien visits from Brann, Tromsø, IK Start and Rosenborg, thousands of matchday visitors will experience the new setup in the weeks ahead.
A Busy Autumn at Intility
The reusable cup rollout is just one element of what has been a packed autumn at Intility Arena. The stadium has already hosted multiple matches across the men's and women's sides this season, and the fixture list remains full through to December. Supporters heading to the Vålerenga W vs Rosenborg W clash on October 4 will be among the first to experience the fully circular cup scheme across a complete matchday programme.
