Intility Arena Roars Back With Packed Second-Half Schedule
Intility Arena has returned from the Eliteserien summer break with a freshly laid pitch and a mouth-watering run of home fixtures. Ham-Kam were the first visitors on 31 July, with title contenders Bodø/Glimt next up on 8 August. The schedule runs all the way through to a Rosenborg season finale in December.
Summer Break Over, Second Half Begins
Intility Arena is back in business. After the Eliteserien summer pause, Vålerenga's home ground fired back into life on Friday 31 July as Ham-Kam made the trip to Oslo for a 17:00 kick-off in Round 16 of the Eliteserien. The fixture marked the stadium's return to top-flight action and set the tone for what promises to be a packed and demanding run of home matches.
The 16,556-capacity arena — known for its intense atmosphere and its artificial surface — has been a reliable home fortress for Vålerenga throughout the 2026 campaign.
A Fresh Surface for the Run-In
Fans returning to Intility Arena will notice one immediate improvement underfoot. A brand-new artificial grass surface was laid at the stadium earlier this month, ensuring the pitch is in peak condition as the club enters the most important stretch of the season.
The upgrade underlines the ambitions of everyone at Intility Arena heading into a second half of the season that will test Vålerenga's squad depth and home support alike.
Bodø/Glimt the Marquee Fixture
With Ham-Kam dispatched, attention is already turning to the next blockbuster home date: reigning title challengers Bodø/Glimt arrive on Saturday 8 August for a 14:00 kick-off. The Eliteserien Round 17 clash is shaping up to be one of the most eagerly anticipated home matches of the entire season at Intility Arena.
Beyond that, Molde visit on 29 August, before Brann, Tromsø, Fredrikstad and Start all make the journey to Oslo later in the campaign. The season finale — a blockbuster Eliteserien home clash with Rosenborg — is pencilled in for 6 December, meaning the stadium will be buzzing well into winter.
