Intility Arena has just come through one of its most intense stretches of the 2026 calendar, with three home sides in action across a single week. The Vålerenga Women's side set the tone on Thursday 17 September, coming from behind to beat Haugesund W 2-1 in Toppserien, before the men's first team stepped out on Sunday against Fredrikstad in what proved to be an equally gripping encounter.
The double-header format — with women's and men's matches sharing the spotlight across the same week — has become a hallmark of how Intility Arena is positioned as a multi-team venue at the heart of Oslo's football scene.
New Pitch Takes Centre Stage
Underpinning the busy fixture schedule is a brand-new artificial pitch installed at Intility Arena ahead of the autumn run. The surface has already hosted several key matches and is widely regarded as one of the most modern playing surfaces in Norwegian top-flight football.
The upgrade was planned to give both the men's and women's sides a consistent, high-quality surface through the demanding autumn months, when weather conditions in Oslo can make natural grass surfaces unpredictable.

Fans will not have to wait long for the next instalment of home action. Vålerenga II return to the stadium on Saturday 26 September to face Bærum, with kick-off at 14:00. The women's first team then host Rosenborg W on Sunday 4 October at 17:00 in what promises to be another major fixture on the Intility calendar this autumn.
