The month kicked off with the much-anticipated visit of Bodø/Glimt on 8 August — a sold-out affair that the visitors ultimately won 2–1 — and it closes with another heavyweight encounter as Molde make the trip to Oslo on Friday 29 August.
With kick-off set for 16:00, Round 19 of the Eliteserien promises yet another full house on the east side of Oslo, capping what has been an unforgettable month at the 16,556-capacity venue.
Brand-New Surface Sets the Stage
Underpinning this run of fixtures is a significant infrastructure upgrade: over the summer break, Intility Arena had its artificial pitch completely replaced. The new surface was first used competitively when Ham-Kam visited on 31 July, and it has since hosted Bodø/Glimt in the league as well as a Norwegian Cup tie against Christiania BK.
The investment signals renewed ambition at Vålerenga's home ground, and the surface has already been tested by some of the Eliteserien's finest sides.

For the Molde fixture, supporter zones will follow the stadium's established layout. The Hovedtribunen and Intility Tribune are open to Vålerenga fans and neutral spectators, while the Oslo Taxi Tribune and Østblokka are reserved exclusively for home supporters. Away fans will be directed to the designated away section in fields 201 and 202.
The stadium's standard regulations apply: no smoking, no re-entry, and intoxicated persons will not be admitted. Ticket categories include adult, student, senior, military and child, with children under four admitted free when seated on a parent's lap.
