New Pitch, Blockbuster Fixtures: Intility Arena Ready for Autumn
Intility Arena has been fitted with a brand-new artificial surface just in time for the most compelling run of home fixtures in the 2026 season. Bodø/Glimt are first through the door on 8 August, with Molde, Brann and Rosenborg all to follow. The stadium's 16,556 seats are expected to fill fast.
A New Surface for a New Challenge
Intility Arena has received a brand-new artificial surface ahead of the second half of the 2026 Eliteserien season, signalling a renewed sense of ambition at Vålerenga's home ground in Oslo. The fresh pitch replaces the old surface and arrives just in time for the most demanding run of home fixtures the stadium has hosted this year.
With a capacity of 16,556, the arena is fully primed and ready to welcome back large crowds after the summer break in the Eliteserien calendar.
Bodø/Glimt Head the Bill
The standout fixture comes on Saturday, 8 August, when title challengers Bodø/Glimt make the trip to Intility Arena — already widely regarded as the home match of the season. The game is a genuine six-pointer with serious implications for the Eliteserien table.
Molde are then due in Oslo on 29 August, rounding off an August double-header that reads like a who's who of Norwegian football. Later in the season, Fredrikstad, Brann, Tromsø and, finally, Rosenborg — pencilled in for 6 December — are all scheduled to visit Valle Hovin.
What Fans Need to Know
Tickets for the Bodø/Glimt match are already on sale through the club's official ticketing platform. Discounts are available for students, seniors, military personnel and children up to 12 years of age, while children aged four and under are admitted free when seated on a parent's lap.
As always at Intility Arena, away supporters are confined to the designated away section in fields 201 and 202. The Østblokka and Oslotaxi Tribune remain reserved exclusively for Vålerenga fans. The stadium enforces a strict no-smoking and no-re-entry policy, and intoxicated persons will be refused entry.
