New Pitch, Blockbuster Schedule: Intility Arena's Autumn Awaits
Intility Arena has a brand-new artificial surface and a fixture list to match, with Eliteserien heavyweights Molde, Brann, Fredrikstad, and Rosenborg all due in Oslo before the season ends in December. The upgrade was completed during the summer break and has already hosted a sell-out crowd. The arena's most demanding — and exciting — autumn in years is now underway.
A Summer Upgrade Ready for Autumn's Biggest Tests
Intility Arena emerged from the Eliteserien's summer break with one of its most significant infrastructure upgrades in recent years: a completely new artificial pitch now covers the playing surface at Valle Hovin. The installation was completed ahead of the second half of the 2026 season, with the first major match on the new surface — Vålerenga vs. Bodø/Glimt — drawing a sell-out crowd of 16,556 on 8 August.
The new surface replaces the previous artificial turf and is designed to meet the demands of a dense fixture schedule that runs all the way through to December.
What the Schedule Looks Like
The autumn calendar at Intility Arena is one of the most demanding in the stadium's history. After Bodø/Glimt, Molde are the next Eliteserien visitors on 29 August. Fredrikstad, Brann, Tromsø, and Rosenborg are all scheduled to follow before the season closes.
The women's programme adds further depth to the fixture list. Vålerenga Women host Hønefoss W in the Toppserien on 19 August, with a home tie against Rosenborg W also on the schedule for later in the season.
Planning Your Visit
For supporters planning to attend any of the upcoming home fixtures, Intility Arena operates a strict no-smoking and no-re-entry policy. The Østblokka and Oslotaxi Tribune are reserved exclusively for Vålerenga fans, while away supporters are directed to the designated away section at fields 201 and 202.
Tickets are available through the club's official ticketing platform. Discounted prices apply for students, seniors, military personnel, and children up to 12 years of age. Children aged four and under are admitted free when seated on a parent's lap. With a gleaming new pitch, a packed schedule of top-flight opponents, and a stadium proven to sell out for the biggest occasions, Intility Arena is firmly the place to be this autumn.
