A Fresh Surface for a Fresh Start
Intility Arena has undergone a significant upgrade ahead of the second half of the 2026 Eliteserien season: a brand-new artificial surface has been laid, replacing the old pitch and signalling a renewed sense of ambition at Vålerenga's home ground.
The relaid turf arrives at exactly the right moment, with a succession of heavyweight Eliteserien opponents set to visit Oslo in the weeks ahead.
Bodø/Glimt Lead a Mouthwatering Run of Fixtures
The highlight of the immediate schedule comes on Saturday, 8 August, when reigning title challengers Bodø/Glimt make the trip to Intility Arena for a 14:00 local kick-off. The fixture is widely regarded as the standout home match of the season so far — a genuine six-pointer that could shape the entire Eliteserien table.
Molde then follow on 29 August, rounding off an August that reads like a who's who of Norwegian football. Later in the season, Fredrikstad, Brann, Tromsø and, finally, Rosenborg — pencilled in for 6 December — are all due in Oslo.
Vålerenga Women are also in action at the arena, with Toppserien fixtures against Hønefoss W and Rosenborg W among the highlights of the women's schedule.
Tickets and Stadium Info
Tickets for the Bodø/Glimt match on 8 August are already on sale through the club's official ticketing platform, with discounts available for students, seniors, military personnel and children up to 12 years of age. Children aged four and under are admitted free when seated on a parent's lap.
As ever at Intility Arena, away supporters are restricted to the designated away section — fields 201 and 202. The Østblokka and Oslotaxi Tribune are reserved exclusively for Vålerenga fans. The stadium enforces a strict no-smoking and no-re-entry policy, and intoxicated persons will be refused admission.
