Intility Arena has welcomed a brand-new artificial surface just in time for the second half of the 2026 Eliteserien season. Title challengers Bodø/Glimt are the first to visit on 8 August, with Molde, Brann, Fredrikstad and Rosenborg all to follow. Tickets are already on sale for Saturday's blockbuster.
A New Surface for a New Challenge
Intility Arena has received a significant upgrade ahead of the second half of the 2026 Eliteserien season. A brand-new artificial surface has been laid at the stadium, replacing the old pitch and setting the stage for what looks set to be the most demanding — and exciting — run of home fixtures Vålerenga have faced all year.
The timing of the renovation means the fresh surface will be put straight to the test, with some of Norway's biggest clubs set to visit Oslo before the season is out.
Bodø/Glimt Come to Town First
The new pitch gets its first major examination on Saturday, 8 August, when reigning title challengers Bodø/Glimt make the trip to Intility Arena for a 14:00 local kick-off in Eliteserien Round 17. The match is one of the most anticipated home fixtures of the campaign, and demand has already been high.
Following Bodø/Glimt's visit, Intility Arena will also host Molde, Brann, Fredrikstad and Rosenborg before the curtain comes down on the 2026 season — a remarkable sequence of fixtures that underlines just how central this stadium is to Norwegian top-flight football.
Tickets and Stadium Information
Tickets for the Bodø/Glimt match are on sale now through the club's official ticketing platform. Discounts are available for students, seniors, military personnel and children up to 12 years of age. Children aged four and under are admitted free when seated on a parent's lap.
As always, away supporters are restricted to the designated away section in fields 201 and 202, while the Østblokka and Oslotaxi Tribune remain exclusive to Vålerenga fans. The stadium's standard rules apply: no smoking, no re-entry, and intoxicated persons will be refused admission.
With a capacity of 16,556 and a gleaming new surface underfoot, Intility Arena is ready for what promises to be an unforgettable run-in.
