Intility Arena debuts a brand-new artificial surface on Saturday as sold-out Eliteserien title challengers Bodø/Glimt come to Oslo. The 8 August clash is already one of the most anticipated home fixtures of the 2026 season, with a packed run of top-flight games still to follow.
A Fresh Surface for a Heavyweight Clash
Intility Arena heads into the second half of the 2026 Eliteserien season with a significant upgrade underfoot. A brand-new artificial surface has been laid at the Oslo ground, replacing the previous pitch just in time for a run of marquee home fixtures.
The new surface gets its first major test on Saturday, 8 August, as title challengers Bodø/Glimt arrive for a 14:00 kick-off in Eliteserien Round 17 — one of the most eagerly awaited home matches of the entire campaign.
Sold Out and Ready to Roar
Demand for the Bodø/Glimt fixture has been exceptional, with the club confirming the match is sold out. With a capacity of 16,556, Intility Arena will be packed to the rafters as Vålerenga look to close the gap on the title contenders.
Tickets were available through the club's official platform, with discounts for students, seniors, military personnel and children up to 12 years of age. Children aged four and under are admitted free when seated on a parent's lap. Away supporters are housed in the designated sections in fields 201 and 202, while the Østblokka and Oslotaxi Tribune remain exclusively for Vålerenga fans.
