Over 11,500 tickets sold as Brann visit Intility Arena

3 min read

More than 11,500 tickets had been sold for Sunday's Eliteserien match between Vålerenga and Brann at Intility Arena by Friday. The Østblokka has passed 3,000 sales and Brann's travelling fans have taken more than 2,000 tickets. Kick-off is at 17:00.

Fans fill the stands

The club said on Friday morning that more than 11,500 tickets had been sold for the visit of Brann. That figure came with two days still to go. The club called it the build-up to a "big match" and warned that anyone without a ticket should buy one soon.

The Østblokka, home of the club's most vocal supporters, has again passed 3,000 tickets sold. Brann's travelling fans have also turned out. More than 2,000 tickets have gone on the away stand, so the visitors will have a loud presence in the corner of the ground allocated to them.

What it costs and where to sit

Standing places on the Østblokka (sections 401-406) cost NOK 210. On the Oslo Taxi stand (sections 301-308), numbered seats cost NOK 249 for adults, NOK 149 for youth, students and seniors, and NOK 99 for children. Members of the Miniklanen supporter club for children have their own area in section 308, also at NOK 99.

On the main stand, the Intility stand, adult tickets in sections 101/102 and 107/108 cost NOK 249. Sections 103 and 106 cost NOK 299 for adults and NOK 199 for children. The best seats on the main stand are in the "Hengern" area. They cost NOK 749 with food and drink vouchers included, or NOK 399 without catering.

Children up to and including 12 count as children, and youth tickets cover ages 13 to 17. Children up to and including 4 go free if they sit on a lap. Wheelchair and companion tickets are available only in Sjappa.

Rules for matchday

As always, the stands are split by supporter group. The Oslo Taxi stand and the Østblokka are for Vålerenga supporters only, and no away-team colours or items are allowed there. The main stand is open to Vålerenga supporters and neutrals, but away-team items are not permitted. The only place for away-team items is the away section, sections 201 and 202.

Intoxicated people will not be admitted to Intility Arena, and spectators should expect to be searched. Smoking is banned throughout the stadium. Tickets cannot be resold or raffled without an agreement with the club, and purchased tickets are not refunded.

Inside the ground, cold drinks at the kiosks in the main stands are served in reusable cups. Fans can return them at any of 13 automated Throw&Go collection points near the exits and kiosks. The system was expanded across the whole stadium this year after a pilot last season.

What is at stake

Kick-off is at 17:00 on Sunday in round 24 of the Eliteserien. Brann sit seventh with 29 points from 22 matches. Vålerenga are 14th with 23 points from 22 matches, so the home side have a lot to play for. Both teams are missing players.

The game is the second-last home fixture before the visit of Tromsø on 1 November. The club's last published figure was over 11,500 tickets sold, and it has not announced a sell-out.
