Intility Arena has a new artificial pitch, installed just in time for the most demanding stretch of Vålerenga's 2026 Eliteserien season. The surface renewal signals the stadium's ambition to maintain top-level playing conditions as the title race and relegation battle intensify across Norwegian football.
The timing of the upgrade is no coincidence. With a series of high-profile home fixtures on the horizon, the club and stadium management have made a clear statement of intent heading into the autumn.
Big Names Still to Visit
Fredrikstad are due at Intility Arena on 20 September, followed by Brann on 18 October. The home calendar then closes with what is already being billed as a season-defining showdown against Rosenborg on 6 December — a fixture that could carry enormous implications for the final Eliteserien standings.
Capacity at Intility Arena stands at 16,556, with the artificial surface allowing fixtures to go ahead regardless of the Norwegian autumn weather.
Ticketing and Stadium Information
Tickets for all remaining home games are on sale now through the club's official platform. The stadium opens its gates 90 minutes before kick-off on matchdays. Students, seniors, military personnel and children up to 12 years of age are all eligible for discounted admission, while children aged four and under enter free when seated on a parent's lap.
Away fans are accommodated in sections 201 and 202, while home ends — including the Østblokka and Oslotaxi Tribune — are reserved solely for Vålerenga supporters. The ground operates a strict no-smoking, no-re-entry policy throughout all fixtures.
