Intility Arena heads into the business end of the 2026 Eliteserien season with a freshly laid artificial surface and a formidable run of home fixtures. Fredrikstad visit on 20 September, with Brann, Tromsø, Start and Rosenborg still to come. The stadium is ready — and so are the fans.
New Surface Ready for the Autumn Run-In
Intility Arena enters the autumn phase of the 2026 Eliteserien season with a brand-new artificial turf surface, installed ahead of what promises to be one of the most demanding home schedules in the stadium's history. The upgrade signals the club's ambition to maintain top playing conditions as the title race heats up.
The new pitch was ready in time for the busy run of home fixtures, with the next clash — against Fredrikstad on 20 September — just days away. Kick-off is set for 14:30, with gates opening 90 minutes before the whistle.
A Gauntlet of Home Fixtures Ahead
Following the Fredrikstad match, Intility Arena will host Brann on 18 October, Tromsø on 1 November, IK Start on 22 November, and Rosenborg in the season finale on 6 December. It is a sequence that gives supporters plenty to look forward to and puts the stadium at the centre of the Eliteserien conclusion.
The home faithful will be hoping for a sharp turnaround after a narrow 3–4 defeat to Molde on 30 August — a result that underlined just how tight the competition remains at this stage of the season.
Know Before You Go
With big crowds expected throughout the autumn, the arena has reminded fans of its matchday rules: smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the ground, and re-entry is not allowed once a supporter has passed through the turnstiles. The Østblokka and Oslotaxi stands are reserved for Vålerenga's own supporters, while visiting fans are directed to the dedicated away sections in blocks 201 and 202.
