Intility Arena has undergone a full pitch upgrade ahead of a packed home schedule. The new artificial surface will host Toppserien and Eliteserien action in the coming days, with Vålerenga W facing Haugesund on 17 September before the men take on Fredrikstad three days later.
A New Surface for the Business End of the Season
Intility Arena heads into the most demanding stretch of the 2026 Eliteserien calendar with a brand-new artificial turf surface underfoot. The pitch upgrade was completed ahead of a packed run of home fixtures, underlining the club's commitment to top-level playing conditions as the title race enters its most critical phase.
The newly laid surface has already hosted reserve-team action, with Vålerenga II picking up back-to-back home wins at the stadium in early September.
What the Autumn Schedule Looks Like
The first senior test on the new turf arrives on Sunday 20 September, when Fredrikstad visit Intility Arena for an Eliteserien Round 22 clash. Kick-off is set for 14:30.
The women's side are also in home action before then, with Vålerenga W hosting Haugesund W in the Toppserien on Thursday 17 September — meaning fans get a double dose of top-flight football at the Oslo venue within the same week.
Further Eliteserien home fixtures against Brann, Tromsø, and Rosenborg still lie ahead, rounding out what the club has described as one of the most demanding home schedules in the stadium's history.

Gates at Intility Arena open 90 minutes before kick-off. Re-entry is not permitted once supporters have passed through the turnstiles, and smoking is banned throughout the stadium. Visiting supporters are directed to the dedicated away sections in blocks 201 and 202.
Tickets for all remaining home matches are available through the club's official ticketing platform, where discounted prices apply for students, seniors, military personnel, and children.
