New Pitch, Big Names: Intility Arena Ready for Autumn Finale
Intility Arena heads into the business end of the 2026 season with a newly installed artificial turf surface and a formidable string of home fixtures still to come. Fredrikstad, Brann, Tromsø, IK Start and Rosenborg are all set to visit the Oslo venue before December.
A Fresh Surface for the Autumn Run
Intility Arena enters the final stretch of the 2026 Eliteserien season with a brand-new artificial turf surface underfoot. The pitch was fully installed ahead of the autumn programme, replacing the previous surface and giving Vålerenga's players a consistent base for what promises to be one of the most demanding home schedules in the stadium's history.
The 16,555-capacity ground in Oslo's Grünerløkka district has long been regarded as one of Norway's finest football venues, and the pitch upgrade underlines the club's commitment to maintaining top-tier facilities.
A Packed Fixture List Still to Come
With the new surface now bed in, Intility Arena will host a series of high-profile Eliteserien visitors before the campaign wraps up. Fredrikstad arrive on 20 September, followed by SK Brann on 18 October, Tromsø IL on 1 November, IK Start on 22 November, and Rosenborg BK in the season finale on 6 December.
The women's team also has key Toppserien home fixtures lined up, with FK Haugesund W visiting on 17 September, meaning supporters can look forward to near-continuous top-flight football at the venue deep into autumn.
Fan Information and Matchday Rules
With large crowds expected across all remaining fixtures, the arena has reminded supporters of its matchday regulations. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the ground, and re-entry is not allowed once a supporter has passed through the turnstiles.
The Østblokka and Oslotaxi stands remain exclusively for Vålerenga's own fans, while visiting supporters are directed to the designated away sections in blocks 201 and 202. Tickets for all upcoming home matches are on sale through the club's official ticketing platform, with discounts available for students, seniors, military personnel and children.
